We live in the land of plenty. Most of us have more than we need. We have comfortable places to live. We have decent cars to drive. We have plenty of food to eat. We even have great toys (er, guns) to play with and read about. We enjoy the benefits of the Internet and the computer age. With Thanksgiving dinner still on our minds, and sticking around our waistlines, we have a very recent memory of just how good most of us in America have it. We have much to be thankful for.
Yet, we donít have to look very far to realize that some donít have it so good. We donít have to look to the impoverished nations overseas, even though the need there is excruciatingly great and poverty is incomprehensible to most of us. We can easily find great needs in our own towns, neighborhoods, cities, and states. The majority does little about it. Many donít realize how bad it is for some here at home. Most of us would do more if we knew what to do, and how you could help, even in a small way. And, the joy of the Christmas season magnifies the impoverished conditions of those less fortunate, and the kids are the ones that seem to suffer the most.
We at Gunblast.com decided that we could do something about it! We have around a half-million dedicated readers per day on average visiting Gunblast.com, each and every day. Figuring that probably one-fourth are repeat visitors per week, and probably three-fourths are repeat visitors per month, thatís still more than 7 million people conservatively per month that frequent the Gunblast.com website. We appreciate the loyalty to our online magazine, and we do everything possible to insure we provide our readers the very best in guns and related products reporting. Now, together, joining forces to help those less fortunate this Christmas, we can make a difference!
We invite you to be a Gunblast.com Santa! We are asking our readers to help us help kids less fortunate in neighborhoods across America this year. We have a plan to provide food, toys, games, and candy to kids this Christmas that might otherwise have little, or nothing. Working with local churches in cities across America, we at Gunblast.com want to provide the money to purchase toys, clothing, food, jackets, shoes, games, and candy for the underprivileged children across our country. We are asking you to help us.
We have a goal of helping 20,000 families this year by providing an average of $100 per family for toys, clothes, food, etc. for the children. We need to raise $2 million in order to reach this goal. If each Gunblast.com reader only sent $1.00, we would more than double this goal.
So, we ask for your help. Send us one dollar. Send us ten dollars. Send whatever you can. But, one dollar is enough if all of us participate. And, one dollar from each Gunblast.com reader can make a huge difference in the lives of many kids across America this year.
100% of your contribution will be used to help those less fortunate this Christmas. These needy families will get what they need to see the light in their childrenís eyes on Christmas morning. Prayers will be answered. Kids will be laughing. And you will have the warm feeling inside that you, in your own small way, made a difference in the life of a child this Christmas.
Gunblast.com has partnered with Mt. Ida Youth & Music Ministries, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit children and youth ministry corporation (www.mtidaministries.org), in this effort. Gunblast is co-sponsoring this event with Mt. Ida. All monies come into Mt. Ida Ministries, and all contributions are tax-deductible. Mt. Ida has a network of churches across America that will insure that your contribution goes to those that need it the most.
Time is wasting; we must move quickly. We have only four weeks until Christmas. We have only three weeks to collect the funds and get them to the proper sources for distribution to the needy kids in communities across our nation. So, we need you to send us what you can TODAY.
Please send your money as follows. Make checks payable to ďMt. Ida Ministries, Inc.Ē. Provide a note with your email address and we will email you a receipt for tax purposes if requested. Mail to:

May God richly bless you as you contemplate joining with us in this worthwhile effort.
