Feel
Abused?
By Greg Quinn
July 14th, 2009
Democrats should feel cheated. Actually, abused is a better word. Or perhaps raped. Why?
Their presidential candidate in whom they had so much hope, Barack
Hussein Obama, has surely let them down.
Obama, in his short tenure as President, has accomplished much for his
mantra of “change”, and by now even his most loyal supporters are having
second thoughts. This not the kind of “change” you signed up for?
Well, we tried to warn you.
 | Obama promised to “change” the
economy. He has succeeded.
The economy is much worse since he has been in office.
Yes, the most liberal defenders of Obama claim that he inherited the
problem from George W. Bush. But,
look at the numbers. Things
weren’t this bad when W was in office.
Yes, things started falling apart during the Bush presidency.
The main reason things started falling apart is due to Carter’s
housing program that was signed into law by Clinton and ballooned into the
worst financial debacle than the nation has ever witnessed.
The “houses for everyone” program doesn’t work.
Bush tried to stop the Fannie Mae-Freddy Mac meltdown 16 times in
2007 and 17 times in 2008. Congressmen like Barney Frank refused to stop the
bleeding. Bush was shut down.
Now, we see the results. Obama’s
promises to “fix” the problem in his campaign have resulted in double
the foreclosures. Change that works! |
 | Obama promised to “change”
unemployment. He has
succeeded. Unemployment numbers
are much higher since Obama has been in office.
Actually higher than we have seen in many, many years.
More factory shutdowns. More
unemployed workers. And, the
majority of those in displaced jobs probably voted for Obama.
How’s that for positive change?
Where are the new jobs Obama promised during the election? |
 | Obama promised to “change”
healthcare. He’s working
on this full-time. If his
socialist plans to make us a degraded nation haven’t been effective enough
just yet, his plans for socialized healthcare will bring the greatest nation
in the world in respect to healthcare down to the level of England and
Canada. Ask a Canadian if
socialized medicine works. It
will further bankrupt America while reducing the quality of healthcare
services received by Americans. Healthcare
is not a “right”. They
screwed up housing with this same liberal thinking.
Healthcare is not a “right” no more than owning a home is a
“right” or eating steak is a “right”.
Healthcare is an option that should be obtained by anyone that can
afford to buy it, not something that is to be dolled out to all Americans at
the cost of the taxpayer. I
have healthcare and I work hard to spend the $500 per month that it takes to
insure that my family and I have coverage.
The system does need reform. But,
Obama’s plan to take over healthcare is not the answer.
Government running private services has worked so well for housing,
education, and social security, hasn’t it? |
 | Obama promised to “change” the
housing situation in America. Can
he do it? “Yes he can!”
Along with his Liberal buddies in Congress, Obama’s housing reform
has resulted in more foreclosures than anytime in history.
Makes one feel like his housing reform is really working, doesn’t
it? |
 | Obama promised to “change”
crime. He has been
successful. Unemployment is up.
Crime is up. Consumer
confidence is down. Crime is
up. Our public education
program has huge problems. Crime
is up because our kids are uneducated.
More positive change from Obama. |
 | Obama promised to “change” the
middle class, poverty, and wealth. He has a mantra of “redistribution of wealth”.
Those that voted for him thought that meant more money for them and
less for someone else, those rich guys perhaps.
But, Obama is changing the middle-class.
Obama’s enhanced social programs will aid those at the poverty
level and those illegal immigrants in our country.
His failed programs of job creation, housing problems, foreclosures,
bank failures, higher unemployment, higher inflation, etc. will most harm
the middle class. So, Obama promised
a new middle class, and he is delivering the new middle class.
Obama’s new middle class is moving toward the poverty level.
Redistribution of wealth? Yes,
he has a plan. He does plan to
take from those who work hard to earn more than $250K per year (and we will
see that limit pushed down and down again).
But does he plan to give this money to the poor and middle class who
voted for him? No, he plans to
give it to the government in repayment of the huge debt he is creating. So,
his economic plan is to tax those that create jobs and pay taxes in order to
pay for his social programs that benefit most the poorest in the nation,
many of which refuse to work and who don’t pay taxes anyway.
Who else talked about “redistribution of wealth”?
Not any other American President. |
 | Obama promised to “change” the
future of America. He has
succeeded. I am 52 years old.
Now more than anytime in my life do I see the glimmer fade of what is
America. The United States was
built upon a Christian foundation, and every President up to Obama
understood and respected that. Obama even denies the existence of a Christian national
foundation, and claimed that “America is not a Christian nation” and
that “America is a Muslim nation”, statements that are untrue and
biased. Obama supports the
murder of innocent children more openly than any President that I remember.
Obama accepts the “anything goes” morality that is prevalent in
our nation. Obama supports the
blurring of the description of marriage. Obama is open to give away equal rights to any minority group
that supported him in the election or promise to support him in the future.
Obama is not openly racist, yet is the beneficiary of racist views
that put him into office, yet would be the first to scream offense if the
shoe was on the other foot. Obama wants to tax those that work hard to give to those that
will not work. Obama supports
the neutering of our Constitution in order to meet his social agenda.
Including the taking away of our Second Amendment rights to keep and
bear arms. Like Adolph
Hitler, if Obama is successful in taking away our right to defend
ourselves, he can take away the citizen’s right to resist his socialist
form of government. We now have
a national debt that will burden the lives of our children, grandchildren,
and great-grandchildren. Obama
has given away so much money that most of us cannot fathom the amounts.
And, his give-away programs haven’t worked, only created wealth for
his friends and are bankrupting our country. |
What is our future under Obama?
What is the “change” we signed up for and most of America voted into
office? Less jobs.
More unemployment. More
people losing their homes. More
murdered babies. More “rights”
being given to minority groups at the demise of the majority of Americans.
A poorer educational system. Porous
borders. Less national security.
A socialized medicine program that does not work. More taxes. Lesser
quality of life. A less Godly
society. More crime.
Rights of Americans stripped away. A
Constitution that changes to meet the needs of the government, instead of
government that abides by the restrictions of the Constitution.
Larger government. More
laws. Less individual freedoms.
A national debt that cannot be repaid. Indebtedness to China and other countries.
A less-functional military. A
less-functional America.
I didn’t vote for the guy and I feel abused.
I can only imagine how those feel that voted him in office.
Change that works?
What
can we do? Put pressure on him to
stop the bleeding by contacting your Senator and Representative and demand they
put a stop to this madness. We
cannot afford any more of Obama’s “change”.
